Comments are open again and presently operate without the need for registration. I’ve decided instead of require registration to first close all old blog entries. I may get spammed still, but it will only be on those entries of the last week or so.
I’ve also activiated a MovableType feature that allows me to approve comments. That means you will not see you comment posted until after I’ve given it the A-OK. So long as it’s not spam, you’ve got a pretty good shot at being approved. It’d be nice if you’re also on topic and not obscene or libelous, but hopefully that goes without saying.
Should spam continue to be a problem, I will look again at a registration requirement. I know a lot of people find that a turn-off which is why I’m trying so hard to keep from using it. We’ll see how it goes. Thanks for your understanding.
