Our thanks to those (Lillys, Daroczis, Curleys, Neris, Petersons, Mortons, et al) who helped make our California holiday trip such a wonderful time. We’ve returned to Oregon with a touch of illness, but the time south was terrific.
Even the 12 hours (straight) in the car was handled well, particularly by Jonah and mostly by the girls, both of whom melted down only in the final hour. The upside was Elisha’s use of the toilet at rest areas, something we hope is a substantial step forward in her potty training.
Another notable advancement was an overnight visit for Jonah at cousin Jared’s house. We’re hoping this starts a trend….
