Protesters cut off entrance to PDX – oregonlive.com:
Protesters in roughly 50 vehicles blocked the road heading into Portland International Airport for about an hour Monday afternoon, according to a Port of Portland spokesperson.
The caravan of protesters, intending to protest the war in Gaza, obstructed the inbound lanes on Northeast Airport Way west of Northeast 82nd Avenue around 3:30 p.m., spokesperson Allison Ferre said in an email.
Port of Portland police responded to the protest and cleared the roadblock after about an hour. The protest was still causing traffic congestion as of 5 p.m. but had not led to any known flight delays, according to Ferre.
Imagine missing your flight because of these idiots.
