Battle Ground, Washington

After a 10+ hour day doing SiteRev.com stuff for a client in Portland, I headed for the illustrious and always welcoming Hotel Kann in Battle Ground. True, Carol and Ella were out of town, but Joe and I had ourselves a fine time.

I owe him a huge debt of gratitude for his work in sawing and routing a couple of pieces of wood for Jonah’s bed. These new boards will be guard rails which prevent Jonah from rolling off the bed in the middle of the night (or other times for that matter). He may not realize it yet, but Jonah appreciates Joe’s work too.

As usual Joe and I probably stayed up too late (past midnight in other words) talking politics, computers, and what have you. It’s hard to stop when the conversation is interesting (and when a goodly portion of our normal day-to-day communication experiences revolve around someone under the age of 3).

Many thanks to Joe for letting me stay over and for providing me with such fine hospitality. I appreciate it!
