We had our new LBL windows installed in the living room on Tuesday. The guys from Ben Davidson Construction took about five hours to get the two double-hung windows on the sides and the larger main picture window installed. I was happy to have no role in any of this, especially the removal of the old windows which consisted in large measure of breaking it apart piece by piece.
We are very happy with the new windows. The living room is modernized by the appearance and, more importantly, the draftiness that was a constant problem before is gone.
Next up (barring emergency fix-its): The completion of the family room remodel we started last summer. Probably won’t resume this for a few months, though.
